I know not everyone cares about the big game, but our very own Chula Vista High School got its moment of fame during the Super Bowl commercials! The NFL featured our local stars in a commercial promoting girls' flag football. How cool is it to see our community represented on such a massive stage?

Sad news, foodies! After 80 amazing years serving up classic American comfort food, Hob Nob Hill is changing hands and will close temporarily in March. The beloved Bankers Hill spot has been crushing it lately with record revenues, but owner Tania Warchol is ready to retire and pass the torch to the folks behind Nolita Hall. Here's hoping the new owners keep the old-school charm we've all come to love at this San Diego institution.
